The last year hasn't been particularly favorable for Ethereum. From October 2025 to October 2026, ETH lost approximately 43% of its value, demonstrating once again how volatile the cryptocurrency market is. Personally, I find it interesting to distinguish Ethereum's price from its technological potential: blockchain continues to represent an important infrastructure for decentralized finance, smart contracts, and asset tokenization. The real challenge in the coming years will be to transform this technological utility into sustainable growth in ETH's value. The success of a technology doesn't necessarily translate into a good investment. Five or six years ago, I was an Ethereum fan, but then I lost enthusiasm in favor of more performing blockchains.
