DAY 15 – ENTER BY THE NARROW GATE!

EDIFICATION DAILY DEVOTIONAL | THURSDAY 15 OCTOBER 2026

The easy road is crowded; the narrow road leads to life.
“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.” — Matthew 7:13 (NKJV)
READ: Matthew 7:7–20; Galatians 5:16–25

Wide gate and the broad way that leads to destruction does mean the way of the world. It means whoever is truly interested in making heaven at the end of his journey should not follow the broad way and wide gate. Broad way and wide gate mean the way where you would be permitted to do whatever you want.
Difficult way and narrow gate is the way of the Word of God; living by the principles of the Bible (Psalm 1:1–3). In this way, you live by the principles of the Bible and the dictates of the Holy Spirit on the inside of you. This at times could be difficult and stringent because you would not be allowed to do whatever the flesh is demanding.
Your life would be different and look contradictory to that of many. Howbeit, it is the life that leads to life.
The admonition is, embrace such a life now if you are yet to, that you may have a place in God’s eternal kingdom
