Drawing tutorial creative effort — pencil anime character from demon slayer

in #drawing • 11 days ago (edited)

Today I once again sat down with my pencil and paper and tried to put a new character on paper. This time my choice was a cute anime-style character, whose smile on her face and hand gestures particularly attracted me. I love the process of drawing in which the paper is almost blank at the beginning, but gradually a few lines become a complete picture.

Step One — Initiation

First I took a clean paper and wrote the date 7-10-2026 with @abdullaht above. I then started with light pencil lines to create the basic outline of the character.

Step Two — Face and Hair

After that, he created the face shape and created the initial hair design. I tried to make the hairline look natural.

Step Three—Feedback

Now it was time to give personality to the face. I made eyes, eyelashes and a smiley face. Also added a hand to the character at the same stage.

Step Four—Both Hands

In the next step, the second hand was also made and the shape of the fingers was clarified. Also added more hairlines to make the character look more complete.

Step Five — Dress and Additional Details

Now I worked on the character's outfit and added the neck and body part details. Improved the drawing by drawing more lines on the hair and clothes.

Step Six — The Final Touch

Finally I darkened some parts of the hair, highlighted the face and clothing lines and also finished the small details around. Thus my simple initial sketch turned into a complete character.

Finally

For me, every drawing is a small experience. You never know at first how the final image will turn out, but as the pencil moves on the paper, the image itself takes shape.

In this drawing, I like the smile of the character and the way the hands are drawn. I hope you will like my attempt too.
