Educators teach through more than words. Students also learn from how teachers respond to questions, handle uncertainty, correct mistakes, use evidence, treat people, and respond to feedback. Pedagogical congruence does not require perfection. It requires a reasonable alignment between stated values and repeated behaviors, plus the capacity to recognize and repair the gaps that inevitably occur. Credibility grows when learners can experience the values an educator asks them to practice.
