Dear Steemit team,
I am delighted to apply for the Community Curator role for October, I understand the changes that we hope to see and I'm more than willing to be part of this moving train because change is constant. Below is my application proper.

A brief summary of your history on Steem.

I'm an active user from Nigeria. I joined this platform on the 4th of March 2021. I have spent over 5 years on the platform already and I have equally learnt a whole lot staying around and building myself on the platform. I also believe the wealth of experience I have gained over time will be relevant in carrying out this function.

Details of any positions of responsibility you have held on Steem.

Over the years, I have handled several roles and responsibilities which includes being a community curator a couple of times using different SC0x accounts, a role which has helped me serve other users on the platform. I presently serve as a community curator using the SC06 account with the designation "Steem Improvers".

I hope we continue with this initiative even though it wasn't clearly stated in the announcement post. It's one of the changes that we should strive to sustain and not allow to fade away.

I presently serve as a Moderator in Steem4Nigeria and have hosted a couple of contest both at the community level and the steemit engagements & learning challenge

Details of specialist or professional skills or expertise you have in ‘real life’.

In real life, I do a couple of things, I'm into agriculture, majoring on livestock's farming, I do a little of crop farming. In the secular space, I work as an administrator, a role that demands that I effectively coordinate the activities and program of my organization. I'm also a certified accountant.

What country do you live in, and what languages can you read fluently?

I reside in Nigeria where I was born and raised. I read and speak English language plus a few of the local languages dominant here in my country.

Your key stats - own SP, CSI, Reputation, Delegations.

Own SP	16,632.02
Eff.Sp	16,632.02
Reputation	77.8
CSI	8.9
Delegation	None

Any subjects you particularly enjoy curating.

I actually love curating any and every quality post I found on the platform irrespective of the theme. Lately, I've found myself loving content on games and I feel it would be a good idea trying that line of interest by supporting people who are active gamers as well. However I'm open to carry out this function effectively irrespective of the theme, my goal is to seek out good post and support it.

By the way, is the "steem Improvers" initiative going to continue in October? In my opinion, I think it should be sustained, as a whole lot of people have learnt to write and present their write up in an organized manner, I can tell from the feedbacks, many of these users falls into the category of newcomers. The result has been awesome and should continue.

Conclusion

Thank you once again for the privilege given to us to apply for the month of October. I hope my application is given a favourable consideration. I wish all applicants the very best in their application for this role.

Regards
@lhorgic❤️
