Dear Steemit Team and fellow Steemians,

I am @kouba01, and I would like to apply individually as a Community Curator for November 2026. I am ready to work with the teammates selected by the Steemit Team and contribute to the careful discovery of original posts and thoughtful comments across communities and languages.

A brief summary of my history on Steem

I joined Steem on 20 August 2017. During these nine years, I have participated as an author, educator, contest organizer, curator, Steem Representative and witness. My contributions have covered technology, blockchain education, travel, personal experiences and community activities.

Teaching has been an important part of my involvement. At the Steemit Crypto Academy, I prepared lessons and evaluated assignments, while my work with Dynamic Devs included educational activities in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and SQL. Reading students’ work taught me to recognize effort, check explanations carefully and offer feedback that helps someone improve.

Positions of responsibility I have held on Steem

  • Steem Representative: I supported educational initiatives, contests and community participation, while reporting on my activities. This weekly report provides an example of that work.

  • Community Curator: I have worked with several curation teams, contributing to post selection and weekly reports. Team1’s December 2024 report illustrates our collective work and includes selections I contributed.

  • Witness @kouba01: Operating a Steem witness has also involved me in the technical side of the network.

  • SteemHome team: I contribute to SteemHome, where organizers can create challenges, collect entries and evaluate them against published criteria. This practical example explains how the process works.

These responsibilities have given me practical experience in coordination, transparent reporting and constructive communication.

My professional skills and real-life experience

I am a senior computer science instructor, with a master’s degree in computer science specializing in artificial intelligence and a master’s degree in educational engineering for adult training.

My daily work involves teaching programming and databases, preparing learning activities and evaluating students’ progress. This experience is particularly useful when reading technical or educational posts, where I consider whether the explanation is accurate, the examples are understandable and the reader can put the information into practice.

I also value clear attribution and feedback that addresses something specific in the author’s work.

My country and languages

I live in Tunisia, and I can read Arabic, French and English fluently. These languages allow me to explore different communities and assess contributions directly, while communicating with an international team.

My key statistics: own SP, CSI, reputation and delegations

The following figures reflect my latest SteemWorld account statistics and may change as account activity continues.

IndicatorValue
Own Steem Power, excluding incoming delegation271,488.63 SP
Effective Steem Power261,378.03 SP
Reputation83.065
Voting CSI10.4
Upvotes during the preceding seven days67
Accounts supported during that period50
Self-votes during that period0.00%
Incoming delegationApproximately 1.12 SP
Outgoing delegationApproximately 10,111.73 SP

My outgoing delegation represents approximately 3.72% of my own SP, leaving most of my stake available for my own curation.

Subjects I particularly enjoy curating

I particularly enjoy educational tutorials, technology, software development, blockchain, finance, travel accounts and firsthand stories. I also appreciate well-prepared challenges and comments that add something meaningful to a discussion.

These interests would guide my reading without restricting my selections. A useful explanation, an original creative contribution or a carefully documented personal experience can deserve support regardless of its subject.

I would read contributions fully, consider their originality and check relevant claims and sources. I would also explore smaller communities and authors whose work receives little attention.

My commitment for November

If selected, I will coordinate with my teammates, respect our schedule and help maintain clear records of our curation.

I will follow the requirement to exclude plagiarized and AI-generated posts or comments. I will respect the rotation for the team’s daily member vote and the weekly limit of 10% of the curation account’s voting power for team members.

I will also contribute to the weekly top-seven report in the Steem POD community, explaining the selections and stating how many were written by other Community Curators. I will actively seek deserving work beyond fellow curators.

Thank you for considering my application. I would be glad to bring my teaching experience, technical knowledge and familiarity with three languages to a November team, while continuing to support authors through my own account.
