Application: Community Curators for October, 2026

Edited

Hello Steemit Team,

In response to your post, I am applying for the role of curator to help writers with strong ideas, especially in travel, fiction, and creative writing, which include diary posts.

• Personally, I have run a program interdependently for the benefit of newcomers for more than two years.

• I believe good feedback builds confidence and community, so good comments will definitely attract my attention. As a curator, I would help bring hidden gems to the platform and encourage authors to present their best work, benefiting everyone, including creators, readers, and the community in totality.

• As a curator during my multiple selection months and also running several SLC Contests on my own, I have always tried my best to look beyond the country, community, or status of the author and remain neutral in my approach, and I intend to continue the same practice in my new role.

• I have done it successfully right from November 2023, being part of several curation teams, including the newcomers' team (Booming01), on several occasions; therefore, I am comfortable engaging with both new and experienced writers.

Having written articles in travel and creative writing, including diary posts, I would prefer to visit all such posts. As part of the Newcomers' Team (Booming01), on several occasions I'm comfortable engaging with both new and experienced writers. I am comfortable in collaborative discussion in the comments to further support all Steemians on equal terms.

I assure you that I know how to:

• Spot weak presentation, repetitive phrasing, and poor formatting in user posts

• Practice fixing poorly presented posts while keeping the original voice intact.

• Markdown: I have "Verified Achievements" in Newcomers' Community.

• How to check AI/plagiarism

• I am a qualified mechanical engineer with 2 postgraduate diplomas in marketing management and advanced welding technology (special alloys).

• Country of residence: India, Australia
