Application For Community Curator - October 2026

in #curatorapplication • 6 days ago (edited)

Greetings friends.

On this occasion, I am submitting my application to serve as a community curator for the month of October.

I joined Steemit on May 9, 2018. Since joining the platform, I have been an active participant, gaining experience both in content creation and engagement, as well as in various responsibilities related to management, moderation, and curation within the ecosystem.

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to serve as a moderator in major communities such as World Of Xpilar, Steem Alliance, Steem Gaming Hub, and Newcomers’ Community. I have also been an active member of communities such as Steem Venezuela and Comunidad Latina Recreative Steem, among others. These experiences have allowed me to get to know different types of users, content, and community dynamics, as well as to understand the importance of maintaining organized, inclusive spaces focused on creating quality content.

My experience as a community curator has been ongoing. I have worked with the Steemcurator and Booming accounts, forming teams with a diverse group of users from whom I have learned each person’s curation methodology, and participating in the review and selection of posts that meet quality criteria and add value to the communities. This experience has allowed me to develop curation criteria based not only on the visual or thematic quality of a post, but also on aspects such as originality, the effort put in by the author, genuine interaction, and compliance with the platform’s rules.

One of the aspects I consider most important in my career is my experience in verifying the authenticity of content. I have developed skills to analyze posts, review information, identify potential irregularities, and look for signs that may indicate plagiarized, reused, or non-transparent content. I believe that responsible curation requires taking the time to investigate the authenticity of content—such as a user’s blog history—before making a decision.

I also have experience reviewing accounts and detecting behavior related to account farming, paying close attention to posting patterns, interactions, account activity, and potential behaviors that could affect the fair distribution of rewards. My goal is to uphold the well-being of the platform.

For the month of October, I am once again offering my expertise, time, and commitment to the Steemit curation program to responsibly contribute to the identification of quality content, with the aim of supporting authors who produce genuine work, and I take this responsibility seriously, with transparency and objectivity. Furthermore, I am committed to continuing to learn, sharing criteria with other curators, and conducting careful and transparent reviews throughout the curation period.

Below are some metrics related to my performance and growth on the platform:

First, I'll show my Steem Power, which totals 146K; I'm close to earning my third Orca. My reputation, which is 83, and my CSI for the last 7 days are also displayed.

Now we'll be able to see the accounts I support by delegating my Steem Power.

This way, we’re available to support Steemit’ Curation Program
