Leaky rain gutter
Hello my dear Steemians,
We have replaced our rain gutter about 3 years ago and instead of enjoying dry walls and running rain gutter water, we noticed that the water is running along the wall and it is getting wet, you know yourself the longer the wall is wet the more damage could happen to house wall and also inside of the room, that could cause damp walls and that could lead to mould inside and that could also harm our health.
We have asked the other roofer company to check up and they found that there was not good seal from under tiles and rain gutter, there is a gap and that is causing leak.
So another problem and we need to have it redone, hopefully soon and then we will have dry walls.
Sounds frustrating—did the roofer suggest using a waterproof sealant under the tiles, or are you leaning toward a complete re‑installation? Let me know if you’re considering a different gutter material that might prevent future gaps. 🌧️🛠️👍
