Reflection
Hello Everyone From Steemit World. Hopefully you all have a very good day.
Yesterday was my 39th birthday, one more year and I will be 40 years old. I don't know why, but time feels like it's passing so fast and I feel like there are still so many things I haven't been able to achieve at my current age.
Looking far back, in my imagination my current age should have already brought me to a certain stability. Of course, I don't forget other achievements that satisfy me, like my small family, but the very uncertain economic condition right now makes our family's economic stability unstable, and makes me wonder if I made the wrong career choice 15 years ago?
I was always taught to be grateful for what I have, because maybe out there there are still many people who are not as fortunate as me. But still, I'm sad to see many of my and my family's wishes that I cannot fulfill. If I were 10 years younger, maybe I would look for a more secure career, instead of wanting freedom too quickly but ending up feeling trapped in old age.
I hope that this worry of mine is something normal, just a reflection of concern, and hopefully I will be given ease and abundant sustenance and happiness without excessive worry.

Hi @mytravelandscape, first of all I would like to wish you Happy Birthday! It looks you had your loved people around you and that is the most important thing in our life.
Often it is a case that we think we know what we want with time sometimes it could be changed and we regret about something. I think it is important not to look back because we can not change the past we still can change our future. I would advise maybe now to try to find something that you think will be beneficial and that you would love to do. It is never late to change.
On one hand you can achieve a lot when you are writing and taking part in Steemit activities. Of course it is not too good value but my niece being a student and started about 3 years ago managed to earn and take down appr. £1500 this is when calculate in British pound.
Steemit could be your another hobby but as any hobby you should do it regular and then it will give its fruits.
