Hello my dear Steemians,

 

 

Mikey

 

“Mikey! Come, it is time to go, fishes waiting for us, it is high tide”, that was Mikey’s grandmother who was calling her grandson. It was very early about 6 o’clock in the morning and grandma knew that it is early but Mikey asked her yesterday to wake him up as he wanted to help fishing. Yesterday he promised to wake up without problem.

Grandma, just prepared a bit of breakfast, it was a piece of bread and baked fish and warm milk, that was breakfast for a boy. Grandma was going to call again her grandson but he already appeared in kitchen, he had his clothes on and actually was looking fresh and not really sleepy.

“Fish!! I love fish!”, exclaimed Mikey and grabbed his breakfast and made a big bite, he was hungry that is why the breakfast had been eaten very quickly.

“I am ready, granny!”, said Mikey and put his hat on his head.

Grandma was pleased to see her little one and they together made their way to seashore.

The morning went quickly and both grandmother and Mikey were busy with their work and couple of hours later they had enough fish for the market.

“Mikey let’s go we need to hurry up to market”, said grandma, Mikey knew that he will have some nice food on market. He was happy and satisfied with his work.

 

Grandma “Pailine”

 

Pauline was about 70 years old and lived with her grandson, his parents were in city and working in order to ear money, they were coming on weekends and that was great time to be all together. Pauline loved weekends and glad to see her family together.

In order to help a bit Pauline was going fishing and later selling them on market. Fish market takes place twice a week. It was not much money but she loved to spend them for Mikey. He was her sunshine and great help.

Today Mikey wanted to come to help and that made Pauline happy. The morning was good, both herself and Mikey got enough fish for selling today.

Pauline called Mikey a nd told that they need to go to market, she lift the basket and instead of carrying with her hands she made a special belt around it and put around her head, although it was not easy but it was not so heavy. She hoped that they will have a good sell and she will buy some warm clothes for Mikey, in that moment she just looked at herself and her own clothes, they were very old but she thought they are still okay and Mikey is more important.

She was only happy to have her grandson healthy and warm.
