Husne Souwt Competition Program, Recitation of small children
Dear friends, I hope you all are doing well. I am also, Alhamdulillah, doing very well by Allah's endless mercy. The Quran is such a book that it is the best book in the world, it is the Quran Al-Quran. This Quran was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), and it contains guidelines for our way of life.
It is a means for us to consider how we should live, how we should spend our lives, which paths are good and which are bad. How we can please our Creator and how we can follow the right path—all of that is here. Today's program is about that Quran.
In our madrasa, students study the Quran, learn to recite it, and try to memorize it while reciting. The teachers here teach the students in a way that helps them memorize and recite beautifully. Just like that, as a teacher here, I also teach the students to recite.
Today, in front of you, I’m presenting a part of the recitation that was taught to us at an event we held called 'Husne Saut.' The meaning of this is 'beautiful voice,' which refers to reciting the Quran in a melodious and beautiful way, hence the name Husne Saut. Around this, competitions take place, and students from different groups recite together.
Just like that, the other judges present skillfully and wisely reward them and decide the rankings. Good teachers and judges take the responsibility to determine who gets which place. In front of you, I’m showing a student’s recitation on video, where I was sitting as a guest myself.
