Ten Years From Now
Where do you see yourself 10 years from now?
Honestly, ten years is a very long time, and it is difficult to say exactly where I will be in 2036, especially for someone like me who does not always have a fixed plan for the future. Life is also very short and unpredictable, so I do not want to make unrealistic promises about what I will achieve.
Instead, I would say that my biggest wish is to remain healthy and live a peaceful life. If I can be connected with a physical job, an online job, or a small business, I will consider myself fortunate.
I do not dream of having an enormous amount of money. I simply want enough financial stability to live comfortably, take care of my family, and deal with the basic needs of life without too much stress.
I also hope that I will be involved in something meaningful and useful. Most importantly, I want to have a happy family and a peaceful home.
If possible, I would like to live in a place that is close enough to a city to enjoy its facilities but also close to the countryside, where I can enjoy open spaces and a quieter environment. Having my own home would be a great achievement for me.
What job do you hope you will be doing? Where will you be living?
I cannot say exactly what job I will be doing ten years from now. I may have a physical job, work online, run a business, or perhaps do a combination of these things.
My main goal is not to have a very prestigious job or become extremely wealthy. I would rather have a stable source of income and do work that I find useful and meaningful.
For living, I would prefer a peaceful place somewhere between the city and the countryside. I like the convenience of cities, but I also enjoy greenery, open spaces, and a quieter environment.
How will society in your country have changed by then?
Society is constantly changing, and I think Bangladesh will also experience many changes over the next ten years. At present, we are facing challenges such as political instability, concerns about personal safety, unemployment, and rising living costs.
Inflation is also a major concern because the prices of everyday necessities often increase, while income does not always increase at the same rate.
I sometimes worry that some of these problems could become more serious over the next ten years. At the same time, I am hopeful that positive changes can also happen.
New leadership may bring different ideas, new employment opportunities may develop, and new sectors of the economy may create opportunities for young people.
Will the world be very different in 2036?
Yes, I believe the world will be quite different in 2036. Technology will probably become much more advanced and will play an even bigger role in our everyday lives. People may find more digital ways to work and earn money. Healthcare and education may also improve through the use of new technologies.
However, technology also has a negative side. The same technologies that can improve our lives can also be used in harmful ways. The increasing use of advanced technology in warfare is particularly concerning because it could create serious dangers for entire countries and populations.
So, when I imagine myself in 2036, I do not imagine a perfect future. I simply hope that I will be healthy, financially comfortable, connected with meaningful work, surrounded by a happy family, and living a peaceful life.
I pray to the Creator that He keeps me in this way and gives me the strength to live a good and peaceful life. For me, that would already be a very successful future.

su respuesta es sin duda acertada ya que el mundo está en constante cambio y nuestra vida cambia o termina en unos minutos, así que muy bien dicho que 10 años es mucho tiempo,
pero qué bien que se proyecte en un trabajo y una condición económica estable, sin lujos pero que alcance para cubrir sus necesidades, de tener casa propia.
Me encanta el lugar para su vivienda que sea un lugar algo rural pero no tan lejos de la ciudad para poder disfrutar de los servicios, me imagino sobre todo de Educación y salud que son indispensables.
Esperemos que la Inflación y nuestros gobernantes no continúen perfidicando al pueblo.

Thank you so much, for your beautiful words. I completely agree with you. Life can change unexpectedly, so it is difficult to predict exactly where we will be ten years from now. Still, having some simple goals gives us something to work toward.

In your view, people could find better job opportunities in the digital sector and earn higher incomes. However, technological development could also bring downsides; the use of technology in military applications specifically in armed conflicts between nations would be a cause for concern for humanity and a truly regrettable prospect.
