Drawing Tutorial :Drawing of a lotus leaf

Hello friends, how are you all? I hope you are all doing very well; I am doing very well too—Alhamdulillah. Today, I am here to share a wonderful painting with you. In this piece, I will be painting a water lily along with some vines and foliage. Let’s discuss the details of how I completed it.

The Process of Drawing

🟫 Step 01

🍃To create today's drawing, I first sketched a lotus flower and a few leaves in my sketchbook using a pencil.

🟫 Step 02

🍃I have filled in the remaining part of the drawing book—excluding the flower petals—with blue paint.

🟫 Step 03

🍃Next, I filled in the leaf areas with green and yellow paint, outlined them with some blue, and drew vein-like patterns inside the leaves using yellow paint.

🟫 Step 04

🍃Next, I drew a lotus flower; here, I used shades ranging from red to light red, and in addition to that...I used yellow here in the middle.

🟫 Step 05

🍃And that is how I have completed my drawing for today; take a look—this is the finished version of the drawing.
