Community Curator Application - October 2026
Hello Steemitblog!
Following the monthly curator announcement on the Steemitblog, I am applying to work as a curator to support the steemit community. The publication's good initiative, especially with the new tweak geared toward improving the platform, is a welcome development. This is another opportunity for me to make a "one cent" contribution to the platform.
For October 2026, I believe I have met all the prerequisites for this application and am therefore ready to publish. This requirement applies to all requested criteria to enhance my blogging growth career, as well as play a crucial role in the growth of Steemit.
A brief summary of my history on Steem.

I am @xkool24 from Nigeria. I joined the Steemit platform in November 2020. It has been a remarkable experience with immense hands-on knowledge shared on both sides.
I have achieved many things, among them helping to build my country's community and an "agriculture-based community" on the platform. I'm an admin at the #steem4nigeria community, the largest community of Nigerians on the Steem Blockchain. And also an admin in #Steem-agro, a hub of all "agricultural activities" and events on the platform.
I've also participated in other roles on the platform, including verification as a GREETER in the NEWCOMERS community, where new users are guided on how best to use the platform healthily.
Most importantly as well as a community CURATOR where as a team we delivered as required as a team and by the team.
Also, handling and coordinating engagement challenges in the community, as well as teaching as an instructor [Agricultural Matters] in the SLC season 20.
Details of positions of responsibility held on Steem.
- Greeter in the newcomers community, having worked alongside #cryptokanon
- Admin in #Steem4Nigeria community.
- Admin in #Steem-agro community
- Community curator for one of the months
- Teaching instructor in SLC season 20
Details of specialist or professional skills or expertise you have in ‘real life’
My profession: I am an Agricultural Economist, but my career has tilted toward this field of study given my present engagements. I am a professional sales specialist (Territory Sales Manager) in the telecommunications sector with expertise in delivering acquisitions and key account management.

Any subjects you particularly enjoy curating
Activities and publications with agriculture-based themes may draw my affinity here, given my long stay and closer follow-up on this subject on the platform. But this does not remove another interesting theme with over 50% of publications made on the platform, which is the Diary Reports. Other themes like travelling, health, and DIY publications are also strong suggestions for me.
My clear objective is to ensure that originality of content is the focus. This is to encourage publishers and content creators to showcase their wealth of experience during publication.
This is my application as a theme curator for October 2026, with commitment, discipline, responsibility, and focus to handle all functions that come with this responsibility. I look forward to this valuable opportunity for the month of October to put all my efforts into the development of the Steemit platform.
Regards

A great Steemian you are. You're not just a cool headache personality, your consisteny contribution to steemit community is not struggling to prove itself. Apart from the blogs you have, the weekly neighborhood watch contest is a milestone for us. In many ways both steemit and Steemians have benefited from you.
Congratulations in advance!

The Neighborhood Watch contest would be rebranded and restarted. A little planned support from here and there would help facilitate its return. Thank you for your comment.
Hi @xkool24 , you have showed your hard work as moderator and the leader of few communities. During the last years you managed to keep the users from Nigeria active, helping with your advises and your support, I noticed that you also still maintain Nigeria trial. I hope you will have an opportunity to get a curator role for October!
Thank you, boss. That was a summary to my key stats. I appreciate your feedback and best wishes.
Reading your application gives a pretty good picture of your Steemit journey. Especially your experience of handling different responsibilities on the same platform. Such as working as a Greeter Community Admin Instructor and first as a Curator. Really shows your activity and commitment. Your connection to the agriculture sector is also interesting. As you have your own understanding and experience with this topic. I also liked that you talked about giving primary importance to originality in curation rather than just favorite topics. Best wishes to you for the curator application of October 2026. May Allah bless your hard work. And give you the opportunity to fulfill your responsibility in the best possible way.
Hello friend, @m-princess! It's been a while since you surfed the agri-community. But I am pleased to have read through these beautiful lines of yours. They are most uplifting 🙏. There's only one purpose here: to grow and advance the steemit platform to the next level.
Thank you for stopping by... shalom
I joined the agri community quite some time ago. And it was truly heartening to read your lovely message here. You are absolutely right. We all share the same goal to take Steemit further through our modest efforts. And contribute to the platform's growth. It means a great deal to me that you took the time to read my comment and offer your encouragement. Thank you very much and best wishes to you as well.
Your journey on Steemit since 2020 has been quite interesting, especially your contribution to building your country's community and Steem-Agro. Your association with the field of agriculture can also be beneficial for this curation as you understand the subject well. I like that you have talked about supporting not only agriculture but also different topics like Diary Game, travel, health and DIY. The best part is that you want to emphasize originality. Best wishes for October's curator application.
What an amazing feedback as response from you. Supporting the platform from our little space remains a top priority. Thank you for the firm and valuable comment.
