Basic Knowledge in Agriculture 95: Pollination

The agriculture is very important and busy field of industry. There are smaller and bigger farms and farmers. In the past it was normal to have small garden almost for everyone, there was not much in shops that is why people tried to grow their own vegetables and fruits, Since ancient time we know there where we have many insects it is good for both side, in the first instance for plants this way it help the plants to be spread around and to have variety of crops, vegetables and fruits.
Nowadays, we know that there are a big industries producing large amount of harvest that is providing supermarkets food. In order to have good harvest it is not only soil quality and water but the plants on their early stage require pollination, that could be natural via bees, bumble bees, butterflies and sometimes small birds.
When having big fields the farmers need to attract insects and for that we need various field flowers, of course there is not much space in the middle of field but such kind of strips from wild flowers can be planted along the fields.
Due to widely spread use of pesticides that we also use to protect our harvest, the same time we may kill the good insects and natural pollinator. What we will do if many insects will extinct there will be no helpers for our plants.
In some countries like in China, that is also a big problem with insects and pollination there is a new type of job pollinator. The people are hired in spring who with the help of brushes go from one flower to another and swipe the pollen by light touch and this way transferring the pollen from one flower to another, this way at least we ourselves taking over the role of insects. It is a global problem after pesticides, therefore, this is also recognised as a problem in agriculture and there are many state measurements to resolve this problem.
