Hello my dear Steemians,

Pasture management is the way of how yo maintain, regulate the farming lands in order to get healthy soils and also healthy animals.

Since old time our ancestors knew that land is something that gives us food and helps our animals to live and grow if there is enough nutrients.

It is often cattle will be send to field to graze usually animals will leave alone so that they could move around and enjoy free space, grasses and spend their day time outside. Usually after warm time is over and it is winter time then cattle usually kept on certain closed spaces and the food is given that was prepared during summer time.

Next year farmers try to use other field and leave the one that was used for having rest for a year. That will help the soil to recover, the minerals, elements and rebuild, as well as for the insects and wild animals to use it and restore the nature of soil for grass to grow and to recover for the next year.

Often we can notice that some of the field overgrown by weed, then those fields needed to be treated again. Often for the health of field we need specialists in agriculture therefore, regular visiting and after the inspection giving advises what needs to be done to make the soil healthy for grasses and also for the cattle to be able to use it as their food.

It is important to pay attention how much animals used of grass, the animals will not understand that it is not too much of it already eaten and better to leave grass to recover, but if we do not move the herd of cattle to other place then it could be very little left behind and for grass they will not be able to re-grow, therefore it should not be left till this stage. Having own land it is every day work and everyday care, only then you have healthy soil and healthy animals.
