Today I want to tell a little story about one such beautiful non-domesticated animal, the wild deer.

In a dense forest lived a deer with his small herd. He was of a very cautious nature. In the morning, when the sunlight would fall on the ground through the trees, he would go out with his companions in search of soft grass. Every day was like a new test for him, as he had to find food in the forest as well as avoid predators.

One day a herd of deer came to a relatively open part of the forest. There was fresh grass. All the animals were contentedly getting the food, but suddenly a deer raised its head. He heard some unusual sound in the distance. The rest of the deer were not yet aware of the danger.

He stood perfectly still for a few moments and then suddenly ran quickly in the other direction. As soon as he moved, the other deer also started running behind him. After a while they all reached the dense trees again.

This incident made me think about how intelligent and careful wild animals are to survive. Running for deer is not just a physical activity but a natural life-saving skill which protects its from predators like lion, tiger and cheetah. He constantly perceives his surroundings with his ears, eyes and sense of smell.

I think wild animals should be considered important not only for their beauty but also for the balance of the natural environment. If forests are reduced and cutting by daily and animal habitats are lost day by day, it affects not only the animals but the entire ecosystem of world.

This fictional story of the deer teaches us a simple lesson and we learn many things from it: every living thing has a very crucial role in nature and in the ecosystem. We should respect wildlife and try to preserve their natural habitat.

This is why for me watching animal activities is not only entertainment but also a beautiful way to understand nature.
