💐In the name of Allah the Most Gracious the Most Merciful💐
💐Hi Steemit community and moderator assalamu alaikum!!💐

My name is @Maryam86 I am from Pakistan. How are you all? I hope you are all well. I am also fine thank God. by the grace and mercy of Allah. Dear friends.today I am going to explain to you about integrated farming. I hope you enjoy reading my explanation of integrated farming. How much effort does a farmer put into growing his crop. how much does it cost.what are the benefits and how much does it cost? You will find all this in my post.

💐Hi Steemit community and moderator assalamu alaikum!!💐

What is Integrated Farming?Integrated Farming System (IFS) is a system in which a farmer cultivates two or more crops vegetables fruits livestock poultry fish bees and biogas simultaneously on the same land. In simple words How does one thing become food for another? Understand with an example Crop + Livestock Cultivate wheat corn fodder. Give the straw and fodder produced from it to cows and buffaloes2. Livestock + Biogas + Fertilizer Cattle dung should go to a biogas plant. From there the gas should be used at home and the remaining slurry should be used as excellent organic fertilizer and used in the field.Farm + Fish + Poultry A small pond in the corner of the field. The soil of the pond should be used for crops. the water of the pond should be used for vegetables. The poultry's droppings should also be used as food for fish in the pond. Vegetables + Fruit + Honey Fruit trees and vegetables on the edge of the field. Bee hives on the trees. Pollination from bees and honey income are also the goal. The goal is to have to buy Fertilizer food and money from outside as little as possible and the cycle of everything is complete

Benefits of integrated farming

Income every month Not just waiting for the wheat season. Milk from cattle.eggs frompoultry money from vegetables will continue to come every week. Risk is shared cost is reduced need to buy expensive urea and feed from the market is reduced. Manure. crop straw pond water are all home-grown.soil health is improved organic fertilizer makes the soil soft water-absorbing and fertile. Less chemicals are used. food self-sufficiency milk eggs vegetables fruits fish are all available for the home. Food security increases

Employment:

Work continues throughout the year. Women and children can also participate in poultry .vegetables honey environment-friendly. waste is not wasted. Biogas reduces the need to burn wood. Carbon emissions are also reduced.

Disadvantages / Challenges of Integrated Farming

Initial labor and knowledge are high It is easy to manage a crop. But training is required to manage livestock fish vegetables at the same time. Disease food maintenance are all important to know. Money is needed to plant a pond biogas plant shed seeds together. It can be difficult for a small farmer. Lack of time this is not a 9 to 5 job. Morning and evening, livestock vegetable. fish care. Continuous attention Marketing problem If milk eggs vegetables and fish are produced at the same time then there should be a market and contacts to sell it. Otherwise things will go bad. There is also a risk that if livestock get sick both fertilizer and income will be affected. If there is no planning. the loss can be huge.

Summary Integrated farming

Integrated farming is a blessing for small and medium farmers. It is a "don't put all your eggs in one basket" policy. It seems difficult in the beginning but after 2-3 years.the land will be better and so will your pocket.

Key to success: Start on a small scale.First combine 2 things like crops + livestock. When you have experience. add fish and vegetables. Must take training from the government agricultural university and the agriculture department?

You have shared a very educative post. Your presentation is quite commendable. I only have this one recommendation for you.

Kindly consider breaking your write up in to shorter paragraphs so that your post doesn't look overwhelming for your readers. This is my observation and I hope to implement going forward.

Thank you very much for giving feedback on my post and for guiding me. My post is commendable in your eyes, but please give me the knowledge that if my post is in short paragraphs. I will try to follow it. Thank you so much for telling me that when a person starts writing something. there are many words in his mind to write. That is why I wrote such a long post. If you people do not like my long post. then in the future I will think about making a short post in short words. I apologize for my mistake. In the future. I will try to write each of my posts in short writing.

Smiles....don't get me wrong, your post is very good. Instead of writing everything the way it is, we are advising you write your very long post in paragraphs.

This will help your readers digest your post in bits and also make your long post less overwhelming to read, that's the point of breaking your long post into shorter paragraphs.

Did you observe how I made this comment? My comment was broken into three paragraphs so you can get my idea in bits and in a very comprehensive manner. I hope you get what I'm trying to communicate now @maryam86

I love your examples of how everything can work together, especially the cow dung going to biogas and the remaining slurry returning to the farm as fertilizer. I had not really thought about integrated farming in such a complete cycle before. It shows that what looks like waste can actually become useful when properly managed.

I wish you best of luck 🤞

Thanku so much for your support.

You are highly welcome
