Hello, friends, welcome to my post in which I have discussed "Animal Activities" as part of my participation in this contest organized by @xkool24

I would title this post "The Speaking Parrot" if I were to give it a special title. Parrots are wonderful pets that most people train to call the names of people and to speak in human form.

Last year, a man named Mr. Benjamin traveled to eastern Nigeria for business and bought a parrot on his way home to northern Nigeria. The parrot was very small when he brought it home and started training it. When he brought the parrot home, he put it in a small cage and kept it in front of his corridor.

Every day from when he brought the parrot home, he was training the parrot how to speak and respond to visitors. The parrot kept learning how to speak and became good at speaking and calling people names. Whenever someone visited Mr. Benjamin, the parrot would greet the person and let him or her know if Mr. Benjamin was at home or not.

People started liking how the parrot was acting and how brilliant the parrot was. The kind in the community offered Mr. Benjamin a good sum of money with a chieftaincy title to buy the parrot, but he refused to sell the parrot to him and others who wanted to buy the parrot. The parrot is not just a friend to its owner, but it became a friend to everyone who came close to him.
