Animal Activities #93

All these turkeys are owned by my landlord, and I am going to tell you a story about what happened with the turkey at the time the compound was left silent when everyone had gone to school and work.

When my landlord brought the turkey home, he didn't usually allow them to walk freely in the compound until after one week; then he started bringing them out to feed. One evening, he decided to allow them to walk freely in the compound.

On that day we were just few people in the compound as I have already returned from school and decided to rest. While testing, I started hearing knocking on my door. Mary, please come out, and I came out, and he said, did you see my turkey, the black one. I was speechless and don't know what to say at that moment which I then later day no I didn't see it.

We started looking for the turkey, and he was bitterly angry, grumbling,g thinking that someone had stolen the turkey. We found the turkey in an unfinished building at the back of my landlord's house. The turkey jumped through the fence and went outside.

Seeing the turkey makes me feel happy because my landlord would have been thinking his tenants had stolen his turkey and thereby seeing us as criminals in his compound.
