Hopefully you are all doing well and good by the grace of Allah. I am also fine and good by the grace of Allah.As you know all I love agriculture very much.That's why I regularly participate in this contest.
Today's topic is also very interesting."Land Degradation".

Land degradation is the biggest threat to an every agricultural country like Pakistan, and many others.
Let's first understand;
What is Land Degradation?
Land degradation means the gradual loss of the natural fertility and productivity of the land. That is, the land that used to produce good crops, now becomes weak.

Main Causes:
Chemical Causes:

Excessive use of fertilizers and pesticides.
Water Erosion:

Improper use of canal water, waterlogging & salinity - this is very common in your area.
Wind Erosion:

Blowing away of fertile topsoil due to felling of trees.
Human Causes:
Not doing proper crop rotation, waste from factories
Its Disadvantages:
Reduced crop production, wastage of water, and reduced income of farmers.
What is the solution?
- Increase the use of organic fertilizer (manure)

Rotate crops (e.g. pulses after wheat)
Plant more trees - this is also your own hobby and the best solution.
Proper use of water and leveling of the land.
