What is Greenhouse Gas Emission? - In simple language
To understand this, first understand an example.
What is a greenhouse?
In cold countries, farmers build a glass house called a greenhouse. In it, they grow vegetables.

Sunlight enters through the glass, the earth inside gets warm, but that heat cannot escape because the glass blocks it. This keeps the heat inside and the plants grow.
Exactly the same is happening with our earth.
The Earth's Greenhouse
Allah Almighty has created a blanket of gases around our earth. These gases include:
Carbon Dioxide (CO2)
Methane
Nitrous Oxide
Water Vapor
These gases allow the sun's heat to reach the earth, but prevent this heat from going back into space. That is why the earth remains warm and we are alive. If these gases were not there, the earth would be an ice ball.

So where did the problem arise?
The problem arose when humans increased these gases to an excessive level.
How are greenhouse gases emitted?
When we do this, these gases are released into the air in large quantities (this is called emission):
Vehicles and factories: When we burn petrol, diesel, coal, CO2 is released. This is the main reason.
Cutting of trees:* Trees absorb CO2. When we cut down trees, there is no one left to absorb CO2.
Animals and garbage:* Methane gas is released from cows and buffaloes. Methane is also released from garbage dumps.
AC and refrigerator:* These also emit dangerous gases.
What is the harm of this?
When this blanket becomes too thick, a lot of heat is trapped inside the Earth. This causes:
1.Global warming:
The Earth's temperature is rising. In 2026, you will have noticed the intensity of the heat yourself.
2.Glacier melting:
The snow in the northern regions is melting, floods are occurring.
3.Weather deterioration:
Sometimes untimely rain, sometimes drought.
4.Impact on crops and health.

What is the solution?
1.Plant more trees.
2.Use of public transport, solar energy and electric vehicles.
3.Less use of electricity and water.
