Salinity Management In Easy Way:

In the name of Allah the most beneficial the most merciful.
Assalamu alaikum, all steemit family hope you are all well and good 😊 by the grace of Allah.

Guys today I am trying to explain what is salnity management.

First of all we understand what is salnity and what is management,
What is salnity?
Salnity mean = Excess of salts in the soil
Management mean = control/manage

Thus, the salnity of management means how can we control the axcess of salts in the soil.

Salt management refers to controlling and regulating the salts present in the soil, its water and crops, so that the fertility of the soil is maintained and crop production is improved.

When and why does it arise?

When salts such as sodium chloride and sulfate accumulate in large quantities in the soil, it is called saline soil or saline soil.

What are its disadvantages?

Excess salts make it difficult for plant roots to absorb water, which affects crop light and yield.

Salinity management includes the following methods:

1: Always water the appropriate abaxial crops as needed so that salts do not accumulate in the soil.
2:Proper drainage to remove excess and salts from the soil.
3:Use of organic matter instead of chemical fertilizers. Composted manure and other organic matter are better soil conditioners.
4: Salt-absorbing crops.
Choose crops that absorb more salt.
5:Regular soil testing should be done to determine the amount of salts by testing the soil and abaxial water.
6:Do not allow excess water to stand in the ground because it can raise salts.
7: Do not leave the land empty.

Benefits of Salinity Management By controlling the saline soil, we can get the following benefits:

It leads to increased crop production, soil fertility is maintained, it helps in better use of water, crops can be protected from damage, and land can be protected from becoming barren.
