Reforestation in agriculture is called "Agricultural Forestry" or "Agroforestry" in Urdu.

Mean of Reforestation:

It means:

Replanting trees in fields, open lands and barren areas so that the fertility of the land returns and the farmer benefits.

Understand this in details.

1. What is it?

Planting fruitful and shady trees along the crops or on the edges of the fields.

1. What are its benefits?

• Land fertility:

The leaves of the trees fall and become fertilizer, the earth is soft and fertile.

Saving Water:

Trees hold water in the ground.

Prevention of weather:

Protects the crop from strong wind, heat and cold.

Additional Income:

Wood, fruit, honey and fodder are given to the farmer separately.

Protection of the environment:

The air is clear and the birds come back.

Our elders used to say, a field with trees never becomes barren.

Today, we cut down all the trees in the greed of crops,
that is why the power of the earth is running out, the water is going down, and the heat is increasing.

If a farmer plants even just 5 trees every year, then in 10 years he will have his own small forest.

Come on! This time, along with the crop,
Plant neem, sheesham, kekar and fruit trees.

Plant trees, then generations will be saved.
