Here is a story about my day *by @alvira-202

Guys, you won't believe how my day went. It started off simple enough.

This morning, I had a classic breakfast. I toasted some sliced bread, and paired it with a cup of rich, hot cocoa. It was just the right start, you feel me? Simple and satisfying.

Here is a picture of it ... check it out.

I was cold in the morning, rain fell last night so the weather gave this chilly feeling 😩.

I wanted to stay in bed after eating and watch some movies but... I couldn't. You might ask: why?

Because the real business of the day called. I had to go to school to see my supervisor. I’m not going to lie, I was a little nervous about that meeting, but thankfully, it went really well.

The supervisor was really friendly and warm, thank goodness I wasn't paired with someone unnecessarily strict. We made some serious progress. By the time I finished, though, I was absolutely famished. The stress of academic life, plus all that walking around campus, really builds up an appetite.

On my way back, I saw a lady hawking Abacha. I don't know if Abacha is the English name but it doesn't sound like English. And i don't know which tribe in Nigeria ownd the meal but i love it. I've been having a serious, long-lasting craving for some genuine Abacha and fish, actually I prefer Abacha with kpomo because that peppery kpomo hits differently. If you haven't tried it yet... you better do.

I haven't eaten it in ages so when I saw the woman with the Abacha I didn’t waste any time. I went straight to her and bought a plate of it. It was perfect! Just looking at that generous serving of shredded cassava in palm oil and ugba sauce, topped with that nicely grilled fish and all the garden eggs, made my mouth water. I took a photo of it in the black nylon bag, just to capture the moment of joy before I devoured it. Trust me, it tasted even better than it looked. My stomach and I are finally happy! What a day!

Can't wait to watch the movie I planned to watch today... THE BFG
That's the name of the movie, incase you want to watch.
