This is 00:50 and I'm here to write how 8 spent the last two days... Saturday and Sunday. Well, hope you enjoyed yours.
Incase you're expecting me to write a trip or swimming activities or even an outing... na you're wrong. I spent my weekend doing nothing. 😂😂
My weekends were not always this lazy and that's why i specially want to write on this particular one.

It revolve entirely around comfort food and chilled drinks and wonderful long sleep.

This past weekend was a masterclass in staying inside, keeping stress at absolute zero, and indulging in the simplest meals that somehow taste like absolute perfection when you don't have anywhere else to be.
My Saturday set the entire tone for the weekend. I spent the morning moving at a pace so slow, that's peace... used my MP the brighten up the home alone mood. When it came time to make breakfast, I decided to go all out with a classic spread: fried plantains paired with a rich, soft scrambled egg sauce loaded with fresh pepper and onions.
I feel plantain won the heart of many, notwithstanding that I acknowledge the fact that some don't eat it.
There’s something undeniably satisfying about the sweetness of ripe plantains. Plantains lovers will attain to that 😩😩. To wash it all down, I reached for a chilled Orange Capri-Sun.
By Sunday, the mood shifted to quick, ultimate comfort food. I whipped up a plate of stir-fried instant noodles, tossing in chopped carrots and peppers for flavor, flanked by two boiled egg halves and a pair of perfectly pan-seared sausages. It’s the kind of nostalgic, effortless meal that instantly makes any lazy afternoon feel complete, especially when paired with an Apple Capri-Sun.
Honestly, this quiet setup highlights everything I currently hate about stepping outside. I hate the noise, the endless rush, and the pressure to always be "doing something productive" when all I really want is peace. I hate dealing with traffic, overcomplicated plans, and cooked meals that take two hours to prepare only to be devoured in ten minutes. Staying in bed with a full plate and zero commitments is my ideal sanctuary.
Which brings me to my sudden, somewhat unexplainable obsession: Capri-Sun. I don't know when or why my inner child hijacked my grocery list, but I cannot stop buying them. There is something uniquely elite about putting that tiny yellow straw through the foil patch. Whether it's the crisp bite of the Apple flavor alongside a savory plate of noodles or the bright citrus of Orange paired with fried plantains, those drinks have officially taken over my fridge. It might look like a simple weekend on the outside, but with good food, complete quiet, and a juice in hand, I couldn't have asked for anything better.
And to think i didn't quite like Capri-Sun as a kid. Omo...
