Through today's post, I will inform you about a historical pond. This pond was built in the Ganabhaban of the autocratic fascist government. Fish farming was done here during the then autocratic government. The cost of building this pond is around several thousand crores of taka. The amount of taka and the cost estimated for its construction were completely illegal. It was built by the then authoritarian government and a lot of money was looted from it.

It was built in 2019 and has been home to a long-standing authoritarian government. It was once a restricted area for the public, but has now been opened to the public since the fall of the dictatorship. At that time, the public was not able to see the beauty of this pond created by the autocratic government. It was used by the autocratic government as a private pond. After the fall of the authoritarian government through the July Uprising, this pond was opened to the public. Now everyone can visit here and everyone comes to visit. The pond has been built very long.

A lot of money is spent on building this pond. A beautiful brick wall has been built around the pond. The entire pond is about 600 feet long and its width is approximately 80 feet. The beauty of this long pond looks almost like a lake. Because of this, visitors flock here to visit. Especially since it was built during the dictatorship, it is now open to everyone. Every day, these visitors come here and inspect the shape of this pond. Beautiful forest scenery and beautiful walls have been created next to the pond. Everything has been made luxuriously. This pond used to be used for farming various types of fish. But recently it has been completely free from farming. No type of fish is farmed here now. It is only open to the general public of Bangladesh as a tourist attraction. Therefore, no fish farming is done here, but rather it is kept only as a tourist attraction.
