A Visit to the Riverside | Charparbati
Hello my all friends,
Assalamu Alaikum, how are you all?Sometimes, you don't need to travel far; there are wonderful spots right in your own neighborhood, and visiting them brings a unique kind of joy. We have just such a place by the river here. People come from far and wide to visit this area; the scenery shifts beautifully depending on the tide—offering one kind of charm when the tide is high and another when it recedes. Exploring these surroundings feels truly special.
The sight of vegetation and riverine sandbars (chars) lining the banks is delightful. Moreover, the natural beauty and atmosphere of the riverside are refreshing; visiting these places lifts the spirits at any time of day—morning, afternoon, or evening. I make an effort to visit these spots occasionally because I enjoy it so much; it’s a great way to feel good. Compared to the city, these riverside areas are wonderful because you can fully enjoy the natural beauty around you. You can see large sandbars on either side of the river,
often dotted with grazing goats and other sights.A few days ago, I went for a walk by the river in the late afternoon, right after lunch. The weather was perfect, and being by the river made nature feel within easy reach—a truly pleasant experience. The river is just a short distance from my home, and the scenery along its banks is lovely. People travel from far away to stroll along these banks, and it’s heartwarming to see them visiting with their families or loved ones. When I went there, the river was brimming with the rising tide.
It feels as though the rising tide has surged right into the heart of the river; during this time, boats are moored along the banks, and the fishermen step ashore, as the water level rises significantly. The river takes on a special charm when the water is high, creating a unique connection with the landscape—even though the water itself is saline and the distant banks are lined with trees. In the past, people used to travel from far and wide to bathe in the river; while the muddy banks remain, the water is now salty, so although people still visit to stroll and sightsee, few actually bathe in it.
It is delightful to sit by the riverbank and chat with friends, family, or loved ones. Visitors often capture photos and videos, trying to fully appreciate the river's beauty. Those traveling from afar frequently bring their own food to enjoy while sitting there, though there are also small shops nearby where one can sit, relax, and order refreshments. Of course, when visiting such places, it is important to be mindful of the environment and dispose of trash properly. I hope you enjoy this post about the river and its natural beauty.
