Steemit Challenge S34W8 | Improving Steemit.com
Hello everyone!
Today I am here to participate in the contest organized by the @steemitblog where the users can participate by answering to the questions. I have chosen to answer Question 2: Improving Steemit.com.
The Problem
When we open steemit.com and start writing the post we can add our story, tags, title, and selection of reward but we cannot schedule the post to publish later. Sometimes we are busy at specific moments or time frame and cannot use mobile or laptop to publish post but if we have a feature where we can set the time and date to publish the post automatically it will be great. I often need to schedule my posts but unfortunately steemit.com does not has this feature and ultimately I have to use other interfaces.
New Feature - Schedule Post
I would like to add Schedule button in the edit next to the Post button. It will help the user to choose when to publish a post.
This is how the editor should have the schedule feature next to the post button. It will really very helpful for many steemians.
Describe in detail how the new feature would work?
The users will simply write their posts as they were already doing. But in order to schedule the post instead of clicking on the post button they will click on the schedule button.
When the user click on the schedule button then schedule interface will become visible. The user has to choose the date and time to schedule the post. For the more precision there is an option of choosing time zone so that the user can show his post to specific audience according to the availability of the users of that time zone. After setting the date and time the user will see a line that the post will automatically be published on the selected time.
This is how the post schedule will be done and it will go in a queue and it also allows the user to edit, add, or remove anything in the post content before publishing. In this way the user can also track the number of scheduled posts in the queue.
Who would be able to make this new feature?
At first I beelive that Steemit Inc can develop this feature. Moreover I have used the schedule feature in steempro.com and steemx.org. So both the developers and witnesses @bountyking5 and @faisalamin can develop and implement this feature finely because they have prior experience.
Would many people use it?
Yes many people will be able to use this feature because the life has become very busy and sometimes we have enough time to write more than one posts and in this way we can schedule our posts at that time and the users will not need to miss their opportunity of publishing the post just because of not finding time.
It will be very useful for the people who are busy with study, jobs, and family. All the users will use it who plan the content in advance to save time.
Contest organizers and participants will be able to publish at the exact times.
Impact of This Feature
This feature will enhance the user experience of the current users. It will help to post consistently even when a user is not available to publish the post. The posts of the users can reach the required and better audience according to the time zone.
Conclusion
Scheduling a post is a small feature but it has a great impact on the user experience. Fir its implementation it only needs a new button, time panel, and a scheduled tab. It saves time and helps the creators to stay consistent and engaged with scheduled posts.

Es una buena propuesta, estimado amigo. Esa función sería de mucha utilidad, por ejemplo, en mi país se va la luz de forma constante, hay cortes eléctricos debido a racionamientos, y en ocasiones son bastantes largos, hasta ocho horas seguidas.
La función de programar sería útil ya que al colocar la hora exacta para que el post se publique en la plataforma, no importa si para esa hora no hay electricidad, de igual forma se publicará.

Esta función me parece muy buena porque muchas veces tenemos tiempo para redactar, pero no queremos publicar de manera seguida y podemos guardarlas para hacerlas a las siguientes horas o días.
Pero quedaría avanzada la publicación, nada más de confirmar. Me gustó mucho esta idea; sería bueno si la tomaran en cuenta para mejorar las funciones en la plataforma.

Exactly this is same for me because sometimes I have enough time to write more than one posts but one the other hand I do not find to publish that already written post.
