About My Steemit Journey
When and how did you join the Steemit platform? Who inspired you?
I joined the Steemit platform in 2022, and I was inspired by a mentor, @josepha, who introduced me to the Steemit platform. Before introducing me to Steemit, I saw him taking pictures and writing articles, and I told him I was interested in writing as well. He assisted me in creating my Steemit account and began mentoring me since day 1 on the Steemit platform.

My mentor is the one who also inspired me to be consistent on the Steemit platform. He always checks my posts to know if I am doing the right things on the Steemit platform, and whenever I stopped writing, he would encourage me.
When was your most difficult time on the Steemit platform?
My most difficult time on the Steemit platform was in 2023 when my phone got spoiled. I was phone-less for some months, so I was borrowing my sister's phone to post on Steemit, and at that time I used to post only once a week on the Steemit platform.
I wasn't engaging with other users then because of my device, and it affected my activities and growth on the Steemit platform. Some days I would have something to write about or a picture to snap but my faulty phone then couldn't allow me which I later bought a new phone and became active on the Steemit platform.
How is your Steemit journey going at the moment?
For long I wasn't posting on Steemit, which I recently started posting on Steemit last month and since last month that I resume back on Steemit I have been getting supports in some of my posts, whereas some to end up paying out without support. At the moment, things are going well for me on the Steemit platform, and I am enjoying the journey of growing my steem power and engaging with other users.
How do you want to achieve success on the Steemit platform in the future?
On the Steemit platform, success is determined by the amount of Steem power that a user owns, and in the future I want to own a good amount of Steem power and be supportive to other users on the Steemit platform. In the future, I want to become a curator, and I want my Steem power to be around 200k Steem power.

First of all, I want to appreciate you for inviting me to share my thoughts on your Steemit journey. I enjoyed reading your story, especially the part about your mentor, @josepha. Having someone who encourages you and checks on your progress can really make a difference. Your experience with your phone also shows that the journey has not always been easy, but I am glad you found your way back.
My advice is that you should not focus only on building your Steem Power. Keep writing original posts, engage genuinely with other users, and take time to read and comment on people's work. These things can help you learn, build good relationships, and grow gradually on the platform. Your dream of becoming a curator is a good one, but keep supporting quality content and learning how curation works along the way.
As for your goal of reaching 200k SP, that is a big dream oooh 🤣, and I hope you keep working towards it patiently.
Don't be discouraged when some posts receive little or no support. Just keep improving and remain consistent. I wish you more growth and success on Steemit! 🙌
