Drawing tutorial: Cute bunny made by my pencil

Peace be upon you friends! Hope you all are well. Today I am sharing with you a new drawing of mine. This time I have made a cute little rabbit with the help of pencil. I completed this drawing slowly and tried to improve its shape at each stage. Let's see how I made this bunny.

Step 1: Name and Date

First I wrote my username @abdullaht and the date 21-10-2026 on the paper. I write this at the beginning of each drawing so that I can identify my work and also remember the history of the images I made.

Step 2: Head and Ears

In this step I made the initial shape of the rabbit's head. Also made a long drooping ear with it. I used the pencil with a very light handed so that I could easily change the lines if needed during drawing.

Step 3: Body Shape

Now I completed the shape of the rabbit's body and the second ear. I attached the head to the body and also made the back bend. Thus, the image gradually began to look like a rabbit.

Step 4: Making the Legs

In this step I made the front and back legs of the rabbit. I tried to clarify and neatly his sitting position carefully. While shaping the legs I had to make sure that the body looked natural and balanced.

Step 5: Eyes, Nose and Mustache

Now I made the eyes, nose, mouth and mustache of the rabbit. These small details make her look more beautiful. After making the eyes, the rabbit's face came to life and he looked cuter than before.

Step 6: Final Details and Shading

Finally I did some light shading on the rabbit's body and made the lines of his ears, face and body more defined. I also drew small lines to create the impression of fur. Thus my rabbit drawing is complete.

My Thoughts

I really enjoyed making this drawing. I learned from this work that any image does not have to be completed all at once, but can be created in small steps. With each new drawing I get a chance to improve my skills.

Have you thought about what you’re going to feed your bunny—hay and grains, or a complete commercial feed? And oh, make sure he always has fresh water—lol, the rabbit looks so lifelike! :)

Thank you so much for your lovely comment! Haha, of course! It is also important to take care of fresh water along with grass and proper food in this little rabbit's diet. I'm glad you found this rabbit so realistic. While creating it, I tried to make its shape and details feel natural and alive. Your encouragement means a lot to me!

You’ve managed to pull this off; I suspect you’ll soon get a call from a pet store asking for an exclusive arrangement to sell all of this rabbit’s offspring through their retail chain! :)

Hahaha! 😂 Looks like this bunny will have to make a deal with a pet store! Thank you so much for your lovely comments and encouragement!

Wait for them to make a price offer first, and then decide whether or not it’s a good deal for your bunny :)

Exactly! First listen to their price offer, then you will think whether the deal is beneficial or not. But the happiness and comfort of your beloved rabbit is also the most important! Thanks, you made me laugh!

In any case, yours is the most cost-effective rabbit—lol—since you don’t have to spend money on vaccinations; all it needs for a happy life is a single sheet of white paper! :)

Hahaha! That's right, my rabbit is very frugal indeed! He doesn't care about food or any expenses, he is happy in his world if he gets only a white paper. Thank you so much for your funny and interesting comment!
