La Ilaha Illallaah (لَآ اِلٰهَ اِلٌَا اللّٰهُ ) is one of the most important statements in Islam. It is known as the Kalimat at-Tawheed — the declaration of the Oneness of Allah.

Meaning:
“There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah.”

💚 What does it really mean?

🔹 La Ilaha (لَآ اِلٰهَ ) — There is no deity worthy of worship.

🔹 Illallaah ( اِلٌَا اللّٰهُ ) — Except Allah, the One and Only God.

This declaration teaches us that Allah alone deserves our worship, prayers, ultimate devotion, and complete submission. It rejects associating partners with Allah and affirms His absolute Oneness.

In this video, Dr. Zakir Naik explains the meaning of La Ilaha Illallaah and its importance in understanding the fundamental belief of Islam.

Do we merely say La Ilaha Illallaah with our tongues, or do we also understand and live according to its meaning?

May Allah grant us sincere faith, a correct understanding of Tawheed, and the ability to live by this beautiful declaration. Ameen!
