Today I'd like to share my experience visiting the Sinar Jaya Geudong iron shop in the Geudong area of Samudra sub-district, North Aceh regency. This shop is one of the places that provides a variety of iron and building material needs for the public and construction workers.

My visit this time wasn't to shop, but rather to pick up a load of steel for use in a welding shop. As a welder, I frequently come into contact with various types of materials, such as hollow steel, pipes, and other materials needed to make canopies, fences, and other metal structures.
Upon arrival, the shop was quite busy with loading and unloading materials. Various types of steel and building materials were neatly arranged, making it easy for customers to find what they needed. I then waited for the steel to be loaded onto the vehicle that would be transported to the job site.

In addition to serving building material needs, this shop also serves as a resource for craftsmen and construction businesses in North Aceh. The presence of a hardware store like this is crucial because it makes it easier for people to obtain the materials they need without having to travel further.
After loading the entire load into the vehicle, I immediately continued my journey to work. Although the visit was brief, the experience has become part of my daily routine as a welder, often involved in various construction projects.

Interesting to see this sort of shop in North Aceh.
It would also be interesting to see some sample prices for different types of metal products.
Does this business do deliveries as well, or is it collection only?
I had to buy some sheets of galvanised steel for a building project this week. I got them from a main depot in the south of Wales - much, much cheaper than buying them from the local forge. And the company delivered them for free as well!

Toko besi sinar jaya Geudong Aceh Utara ini juga melayani pengiriman seluruh Aceh, dan mengenai biaya angkutan nya itu sudah ditanggung sama pembeli ☺️. Jadi saat ini saya hanya mengambilnya sendiri kesana.
Mengenai harga besi saat ini beda toko beda harga, dikarenakan banyak proyek pemerintah yang sedang dibangun seperti sekarang, seperti koperasi merah putih (kdmp) dan juga beberapa rumah rehap bagi warga kurang mampu.
