Electric kettle repair: socket change.

A few days ago, a person gave me an electric kettle and said that it was not getting 220-volt AC power.
First of all, I tested the kettle with a multimeter with a 220-volt input voltage, and it was not turning on at all, but the 220-volt electric line was coming, but the inner coil line was not entering.
Then there is a socket under the electric kettle and another separate socket. This electric kettle turns on with a combination of two sockets, so the socket that was with the electric kettle was damaged and the line was disconnected.
Through the series line, I was able to check that the socket at the bottom of the electric kettle is good and the other line is bad, which you can see in the video, and I installed a new socket according to the model, and the electric kettle is working again.
After it was completely fixed, I heated the water here and tested it many times. It is completely fine.

Saludos amigo, en tu país es muy popular ese tipo de artefactos calefactores que trabajan con un termostato de caracol, veo que siempre presentan la falla de abrirse internamente, como en el caso de la cafetera.
Lo bueno es que el repuesto lo puedes comprar rápidamente, es bueno que tengas varias a la mano ya que es una falla frecuente.
Tu lámpara en serie funciona muy bien para realizar la prueba en este tipo de artefactos.

Bastante económico en mi caso esa reparación hubiese costado la reparación 8$ dólares americanos, porque fíjate en el precio del repuesto que nosotros utilizamos.
Cuesta 4$ entonces le coloco 4$ más por servicio, serían 8$ como precio mínimo y máximo 10$.
