I recently started playing squash. I've always loved racket sports, and I'm absolutely loving this one! Another little piece of me :)
At least one comment..today I thought about giving up.on this and explaining what the idea is. If you ask me it will be extremely hard to change the inprent of the cattle. 😥
Is it worth the effort?
Do you play tennis and badminton too? In or outdoors?
This vote is yours and deserved! Let's read, comment and connect.
❤️🍀
Thank you so much for your support and encouragement!
I understand your frustration, but I still believe that small efforts can make a difference. Sometimes, a genuine comment is worth far more than a vote :)
I used to play outdoors tennis with my family when I was younger, and I have some wonderful memories of those days. As for badminton, I tried it a few times, but I must confess that the rather chaotic and unpredictable trajectories of the shuttlecock were a little too much for my patience! :)
Squash, on the other hand, has been a wonderful discovery. I love its intensity, speed, and the constant challenge of anticipating the next shot. I think I've found another racket sport to fall in love with!
Let's keep reading, commenting, and connecting. Perhaps we can't change everyone's attitude, but we can certainly make a difference in our little corner of Steemit! :)

Upvoting you turned out to be messy.
I am curious to hear why that % slider lives a life of its own. I discovered many bugs @ety001.
Any Port left @marcoteixera?
You've always been sportive?
As for the upvote, I think we've all become rather accustomed to these somewhat erratic behaviours on Steemit. Let's keep our faith in a more stable and sunnier future for the platform! :)
And yes, there's always room for a good Port! With Christmas approaching, I must confess that Sandeman 20 Year Old Tawny Port is my bottle of choice for sharing those special moments with family. Consider it a little Portuguese recommendation! :)
As for sports, I've always loved being active. I swim every week, go cycling whenever I have the opportunity, and here in the Azores we're fortunate to have some wonderful hiking trails.
One thing I'd really love to experience someday is the Netherlands' extensive network of cycling paths. Exploring the country on two wheels sounds like a fantastic adventure. Who knows, perhaps one day!
Cheers, and thank you for stopping by! :)

Perhaps it’s time to change our behaviour then. It should be something extra, a bonus. The pot is running dry, and what’s generally held in high regard isn’t really worth much.
Thanks for the tip. I’m familiar with the brand. I’ve had a look, and the prices range from 80 euros to 41.
Interesting ingredients. This really seems like the sort of thing for autumn and winter, with cheese and chocolate.
I don’t do any sport anymore. I cycled through the Netherlands after my school exams. That definitely adds to your life experience. It was very relaxed, though, and I took all the cycle paths. Rain included.

Recently, I came across a post here about a new frontend for Steemit....I'm not sure how far the project has progressed, but perhaps a fresher, more appealing look could help attract new users. I still remember when I joined back in 2018, when things were rather prosperous around here! I even entertained the idea that my Steemit earnings might one day contribute towards buying an electric car. Those were optimistic times! Hehehe :)
As for Port wine, I must say it also goes wonderfully with savoury snacks and traditional Portuguese "petiscos". Definitely worth trying!
And speaking of cycling, one of the great advantages of the Netherlands is its relatively flat landscape. So, even at my age, I think exploring those cycle paths is still a perfectly realistic ambition! Perhaps the rain would prove more challenging than the cycling itself... But with The Cult's Rain playing in my ears, even the "bad" weather might become part of the adventure ;) Cheers :)

Thank you for the great talk!
It is good to be yourself, without all the posting.

Many new frontends are created, but each one them seems to come with flaws. For example steemitx. I cannot type in the field of the polls. The notepad only shows as a small line. I have to make the post in steemit.com and next coly-paste and try to get the 'cuesor' in that field first.
Do you remember the start of the steemit online shop?
I wouldn't know what to do with an electric car. One needs a place to load and there are none nearby. If we continue like this, no one drives. Electricity (the 'lack') will only increase. More people use more more equipment's, databases increase and go first. It is a good reason to keep people at home. A bike or two will the trick, although more and more use electric bikes and fat bikes (the last one is good for heavy weights and seems to go faster too).
If you energy start in the South and East part of the country (Limburg, Noord-Brabant, Gelderland) if not take Zeeland (emptiness catching wind and rain) and bicycle up from there or take the train if tired. If already filled with bikes you should wait till the next one, or the one after that one, or...
I see 70+ years bicycle distances on normal bikes I can't.
Hot drink in mind and the shower and even the rain is something that will pass (during summers mainly at the end of the day).
I'm not a big supporter of having so many different frontends within the Steemit ecosystem. I would prefer a slightly different approach: one really good frontend built around steemit.com, with useful add-ons integrated into it.
As for the old Steemit online shop, I suspect such a project would be difficult to sustain today. But who knows?
Regarding electric mobility, I believe the transition is still heavily influenced by the fossil fuel lobbies. I'm curious to see how things develop over the next two or three years.
And thanks for the cycling route suggestions in the Netherlands! Who knows, perhaps I'll find myself exploring some of them when I reach 70....with a hot drink and a warm shower waiting for me after the ride! :)
Have a great weekend!

Happy to hear that. I missed you. How was your travel?
Time to relax, not work.) Everything went surprisingly well.
Thank you for organising such an unconventional contest, which gave me the opportunity to share a little piece of myself.
Have a great week!
I wish you a super week too.
