The diary game: [03/10/2026] A quiet Saturday at home, a simple favourite breakfast and an evening shopping

I woke up this morning feeling relaxed and happy that I don't have to rush to anywhere being a Saturday, after a long and busy week, it felt good to have a little time to myself, the morning was quiet and there was no pressure and worries of running late to work so stayed back in bed for a little bit longer than usual, I used the extra few minutes to reflect and decide on what to do and how to do them.

When i did finally decide to leave the bed, I went straight into the bathroom to freshen up and I took some time to make the bed, arrange and sweep the room, I opened the windows and doors to allow the fresh morning breeze to into the house which made everywhere cool and comforting, after that I picked up my phone, replied some messages, scrolled through Facebook and just lazied around as I didn't have much planned anyways.

As the morning went on, it was time to think of something to eat, there's always a good for Saturday, it's my normal routine, my every Saturday food is pap, I checked and discovered that I had some raw ones in the freezer but I needed some akara or moi moi to go alongside it, I went into town to get some with bread to go along with it, the perfect combo.

When I got back home, I rushed into the kitchen to heat up some water, which didn't take long before getting ready, I made my pap, dished the food alongside some moi moi and bread that I had bought, I sat down on the floor to enjoy my meal while I savour every single bite of food, it was not an expensive breakfast but it was what I needed to start my Saturday, after eating I cleaned the plates, washed the dishes while I sit down to wash some videos on Facebook, the day was moving fast and it was afternoon at which point I decided to take a nap.

When I woke up I felt more rushed and relaxed, I washed my face, checked the time to realize that evening was getting closer, I had made plans to get some household essentials and personal things like I needed to get, I made a list on my notepad while I assured myself that I would not allow myself to be cheated or go above my budget, then it was time to get going, I headed out to the market, i moved from one shop to the other while comparing prices, at the end I got everything I needed, I got home and arranged them into their various places, thanks for the read.
