SVM Testnet Update: 476K+ Blocks Reached and Validator Status Report

Following up on our recent progress, I want to provide a transparent snapshot of the Steem Virtual Machine (SVM) testnet. The network continues to demonstrate strong baseline performance, though we are currently seeing some fluctuations in our active validator set that require attention.
Network Health and Current Metrics
Despite minor shifts in validator participation, the underlying SVM testnet infrastructure remains highly resilient. The chain continues to produce blocks at a remarkably consistent rate, and transaction volume continues to grow organically.
Current Testnet Statistics:
- Total Blocks Produced: 476,563+
- Total Transactions: 24,862
- Average Block Time: ~5.3 seconds
- Active Validators: 7
Maintaining a strict 5.3-second average block time over nearly half a million blocks is a strong indicator of a highly optimized and stable network. The 7 active validators are successfully processing all consensus duties, bridge attestations, and oracle price feed updates without interruption.
Validator Status and Action Required
We are currently operating with 7 out of 11 registered validators in the active set. Recently, @upex has been jailed, joining @steem-agora, @yasy, and @happycapital in a jailed state.
This typically occurs when a node falls behind on updates, experiences a temporary sync issue, or misses consecutive blocks, triggering the slashing module's downtime penalty.

Update and Sync Your Node:
Refer to the SVM Validator Update Guide. The automated./update.shscript will handle pulling the latest images, safely resetting chain data, refreshing peers, and state-syncing your node in minutes.Verify Sync Status:

Network Resilience in Action
The fact that the chain continues to produce blocks at a perfect 5.3-second interval with 7 active validators is a testament to the fault tolerance of the Cosmos SDK consensus mechanism.
