Building a New Frontend for the Steem Blockchain: Development Progress, Features & Future Plans
Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullah. I am sharing a new post in this community today. Since the 'Steem Dev' community is dedicated to discussions about development on this platform, I am currently working on building a frontend for it. I have already developed a portion of this frontend for the Steem Blockchain and have included some screenshots for you to see. I will publish the full project once it is completely finished. I also recently created a small tool for checking information about Steemit users you can view it here: https://shbinfo.top . My next step is to complete the frontend for the Steem Blockchain, and once that is done, I plan to move on to other projects, including gaming-related initiatives.
For now, I have completed work on the home page. Additionally, I have implemented a login system using Steem Keychain, as well as a login method that utilizes a posting key. It is important to note that when users log in using their posting key, the key is not saved anywhere; it is not stored on the server or in any database. Moving forward, I will continue to update the frontend in stages until the project is fully complete.
The screenshots I have shared show the progress I’ve made so far, which includes the wallet, notifications, dropdown menus, and the profile section. The cover picture option within the profile is not yet complete; I will finish each part step-by-step and share the updates with you. Additionally, work on the mobile view is currently underway, and I will share that along with relevant screenshots in a future post.
