A BOOK THAT DEEPENED MY UNDERSTANDING ABOUT FUNGI (3/10/2026)

Today I want to share something a little different from my normal activities, instead of telling you all about and event but I want to talk about the book that caught my attention and has help in so much way appreciate the important and usefulness of fungi beyond what we do see.

The title of the book is "Applied Mycology And Mushroom Growth Technology"it focuses on the practical aspect of mycology,one of the important thing that attracted me to this book is the way it present fungi as and organisms with much more important than we realize, when many people hear the word "fungus" ,they may think about mushrooms growing in the forest, mould on food,or diseases affecting plants, however fungi have a much wider role in our lives,they are involved in decomposition, nutrient cycling, food production, fermentation.

^{THE BOOK}

One thing we must all know is that the interesting aspect of this role of fungi production of enzymes and organic acid,all this substances have application in different industries,this appear very small and simple can contribute to large scale industrial production.

^{THE CHAPTER THAT GOT MY ATTENTION}

The important of studying and understanding fungi scientifically is not all about identifying mushrooms or learning their structures,it involves understanding their biology,growth requirements, reproduction, interaction with others organisms abd their possible application.

The mushrooms technology aspect of the book is very important, mushrooms cultivation can help and provide opportunity for food production and entrepreneurship when it's properly understood and also practice in a good way.

For I learnt today while going through that book,one of the areas that makes the book particularly valuable, it connects what we learn in theory with possible practical application, as students,it is important not only to know scientific terms but also to understand how the knowledge can be applied in real life.

Special thanks to you all for reading my post,I really appreciate.
