God's Timing
Sometimes we go through tough times, we sometimes find ourselves in situations that make it seem as though there is no near breakthrough.
Sometimes, we feel like giving up because we've tried our best, yet nothing seems to be working. Sometimes, we conclude that the pursuit wasn't ours, the journey wasn't ours, or perhaps we made too many mistakes.
And sometimes, things get really bad that we begin to question God, the Bible, and even our faith in God.
But let us not forget in a hurry that God's timing is not always synonymous with ours and his ways are not ours.
If He could raise Lazarus from the dead after four days in the tomb, if He could deliver the Israelites after generations of slavery, and if He could heal the man at the pool of Bethesda who had been ill for 38 years, have you forgotten about the woman who suffered from the issue of blood for 12 years?
What about Joseph, who was sold into slavery? And David, the shepherd boy who became king despite Saul's hatred? These people had different stories, different struggles, and different encounters with God. But their stories remind us that what we see today is not necessarily the end of our story.
Eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, the heart of man have not conceived the things which God has prepared for them that love him. 1st Corinthians 2:9
When the time is right, God will do it His own way. Maybe you've prayed, waited, tried again, and become tired of trying.
Please, don't lose hope.
Being a believer does not mean we will never experience difficult moments. It reminds us that even in the face of the storm and fiery furnace , we can find the strength to keep going.
And even in our lowest moments, let us find little reasons to smile. 💙
Blessed Sunday, everyone! 🙏🏽 Glad to have you here.
La historia de la mujer con el flujo de sangre durante 12 años es la que más me llega, porque no fue un milagro rápido sino años de espera. En mi rutina trato de recordar eso cuando algo tarda más de lo que quisiera.
