🌱 How Can We Make Steemit a Better Community? My 6 Ideas to Make Steemit Better! ❤️
🌐 Problems in the Steemit Community and Possible Solutions 💡
Hey friends, how are you all? I hope everyone is doing very well by the endless mercy of Almighty Allah. ❤️
Today, I will try to discuss some problems in the Steemit community and their possible solutions.
I feel that if these problems could be addressed and some new features were introduced, users might become more active and participate regularly.
Generally, Steemit is a Blockchain-based Social Media Platform where we can share our writings, experiences, opinions, and various ideas. In addition, we also have the opportunity to earn rewards by creating good-quality content.
However, in my opinion, if we want to make the Steemit community more developed and user-friendly, some important issues need attention. So, let's begin discussing these topics.
- Encouraging New Users ❤️
First of all, there are many new users on Steemit who try to create good-quality content regularly. However, if they do not receive enough feedback, constructive comments, and support from community members, they may eventually lose their motivation to publish posts.
Therefore, I believe experienced users should encourage newcomers and help them create better content. This would motivate new users to become more active on the platform.
- Proper Recognition of Quality Content 📝
Quality content is extremely important for a good social media platform. It is not just the number of posts that matters; the quality of the content, the importance of the information, original thoughts, and creativity should also receive attention.
In my opinion, if users who create good-quality content were properly recognized, they would be more motivated to create even better posts. This could help improve the overall quality of content in the Steemit community.
- Improving Communication Within the Community 🤝
One of the most important aspects of Steemit is its community. Users can read each other's posts, leave comments, and share their opinions on different topics.
However, if communication opportunities were not limited to posts and comments alone, the community could become even stronger. In particular, we need more opportunities to discuss new ideas and help one another.
- Accepting New Ideas and Feedback 💡
Users' opinions are very important for the development of Steemit. For example, everyone could share their thoughts about what changes should be made to the platform, which features need improvement, and how more new users could be attracted.
In my opinion, regularly collecting feedback from users and considering their valuable suggestions would help make Steemit a better platform.
- Adding a Messenger or Direct Messaging Option 📩
To be honest, this is a feature that I personally miss.
Sometimes, I want to talk to other users, but I cannot do so directly and have to use third-party apps instead.
In my opinion, if Steemit had a Messenger or Direct Messaging option, it would make things much easier for users.
Direct messaging could be very useful for communicating with other users, sharing new ideas, and discussing posts in greater detail.
For example, if a new user encountered a problem, they could directly contact an experienced user and ask for help. Similarly, discussing different projects, building opportunities for collaboration, and maintaining communication among community members would become much easier.
Therefore, I suggest that Steemit consider introducing a secure Direct Messaging feature. Of course, security features such as Message Requests, Block, and Report options should also be available to protect users' privacy.
- Increasing Active Participation in the Community 🌱
A community generally becomes stronger when its members actively engage with one another. Publishing our own posts is not the only important activity; reading other people's posts, leaving constructive comments, and participating in meaningful discussions are equally important.
In my opinion, if we all contribute to the development of the community in our own ways, Steemit could become a better and more collaborative platform.
My Personal Opinion ❤️
To me, Steemit is not just a platform for publishing posts; it is also an opportunity to express our thoughts, learn new things, and exchange experiences with others.
Therefore, I believe that giving importance to users' opinions, encouraging quality content, and considering the introduction of useful features like Messenger could significantly improve the user experience on Steemit.
Notice 📣
However, when implementing these changes, it is very important to consider the platform's capabilities, security, and users' needs.
Now, I Have a Question for You! 🤔
What do you think are the biggest problems in the Steemit community?
And if you had the opportunity to introduce a new feature to Steemit, which one would you choose—Messenger, an improved Notification System, or something else entirely?
Do not forget to share your valuable opinions in the comments. ❤️
Thank you, everyone! 🙏
Hi and thank you for sharing these thoughtful thoughts.
What you describe in every single point is the exact problem you will encounter in almost ALL DPOS systems.
Unfortunately, many categories are consistently penalized in favor of diary games, etc.
I believe that in 2026, this type of system will collapse; in fact, user numbers are increasingly declining, if you do a double analysis.
Unfortunately, especially new users, are left to their own devices. I've also noticed that the 10 registration points, if I'm not mistaken, are subtracted as you grow a little.
There are many things that could be improved, but having held this competition means that the missing users are making themselves heard.
I believe that, first and foremost, FREE THOUGHT should be the focus of every DPOS platform and beyond.
Because it is thanks to this that the entire community would move in a single direction for the benefit of ALL: the individual growth of the individual user and, automatically, the community.
From my analyses, I've noticed that more and more groups—almost all of those analyzed—don't support users, let alone new ones.
How should they grow? If you know the answer, please share it. I thought the parent company, Steem, was different, at least in terms of collective support. Instead, here too, at least for now, I see indifference. I hope this trend changes as soon as the Whales begin to seriously take control of the platform, transforming it into the writing platform par excellence.
But it will be very hard work. Will they succeed? We'll see!
Meanwhile, from the bottom, we can provide continuous input and ideas, calling these "SLEEPING" Whales to action...
Given your post, I'd like to point out the contest: https://steemit.com/steemitchallenge/@steemitblog/steemit-update-october-11th-2026-steemit-challenge-season-34-week-8
I believe the second question in this contest is in line with what you describe in this post: revolutions start from the bottom, and I'm convinced that ACTIVE users like you would certainly be VERY HELPFUL for change.
Participate even if you don't receive votes; the IDEAS remain, and they are precisely those that awaken the PASSIVE "USERS" and inspire action.
See you next time, 🤙 @condividsulweb
Thank you so much for your valuable feedback and encouragement! ❤️ I agree that Steemit needs to give more attention to new users and meaningful ideas. I will continue sharing my thoughts and supporting the community, even when I don't receive votes. Hopefully, together we can help make Steemit a better platform for everyone. 🤝❤️
Give me time, I'm still analyzing other aspects, including whale behavior, groups, users, toxic components/whales also present on other dPOS systems, such as HIVE (this will be the biggest obstacle in my opinion), and other aspects that I can't list today.
But I'm convinced that my presence won't go unnoticed, as always happens, and some "PHENOMENA" at Hive have learned this the hard way.
That's for sure! Steem was currently the last platform in the "DPOS trilogy" that I had to analyze, in some respects.
You'll see the results by following my future publications. As always, I stand out from the crowd because I'm not influenced by the risk of losing votes because someone doesn't like me. The goal is to understand whether these projects intend to grow or leave everything as it is now in favor of the few who call the shots in DPOS systems, or whether they want to transform this project into something attractive to EVERYONE, or at least to ACTIVE users.
This will determine the future of DPOS in general, I'm now convinced of it.
Surely in the future, there will be more activity on STEEM, as I always say: it's ALL just a matter of time.
Maybe someone who wasn't writing before will magically emerge =_=
I can't wait to see the level of PROFESSIONALISM and CONSISTENCY of those at the top of this platform, also analyzing basic technical aspects and future intentions.
Best of luck on your journey on Steem.
