Question 2 : A Challenging Question…

I'm glad we are being given this opportunity to suggest contest ideas for the general community, this singular opportunity will birth a lot of beautiful ideas and suggestions locked up on the inside of many people, how beautiful would it be to see the steemit team explore so many beautiful idea from various participants...and yes I'm one of those who have decided to share some of the ideas I've got. Let's get right into it.

Question 1 : The Oldest Item in my house.

• What is the oldest item you have in your house.
• How old is it and why have you decided to keep it for this long?
• Have there been newer and better versions of that item?
• What is your ultimate plan for such an item(s). I.e passing it on to children, selling it, taking it to the museum e.t.c

Reason for choosing this question.

I chose this topic because it's universal, everyone has that one item in their home that has been with them for a very long time, some of these items were passed on to them by parents, some had it since they were bachelor or spinster etc. I'm sure everyone would like to talk about that item they have always had with them and why they cherish it.

Question 2 : The One thing I can't go a day without.

• What is that one thing you can't go a day without?
• Why is that thing that important.
• What would happen if you attempt going a day without it.
• Is there an alternative for such a "thing"

Reason for choosing this question.

Arguably, everyone has that one thing that they can't do without, not even for a day, they already see such a thing as part of them and won't want to do without them for no reason. This question will help participants express themselves along this line, by sharing that very thing they daily prioritize and why its important to them.

Question 3 : The Memory I will forever cherish.

• Can you share with us that memory you will forever cherish. What happened?
• When and where were you?
• Why will you never forget it?
• How does it make you feel whenever you remember it?

Reason for choosing this question.

Humans will always have memories they will forever cherish, irrespective of their background and location. We all have the ability to keep records of events or experiences that have shaped us in certain ways, they are always very hard to forget because of how much it has affected us in a positive manner. Such memories is what we would love that our participants discuss in this section.

Question 4 : If you were given a blank cheque.

• How much would you write on the cheque
• Why do you choose to write such an amount. Is such an amount reasonable?
• What would you do with the money if you're allowed to cash the cheque?
• Give reasons why you think you have used the money judiciously without being greedy.

Reason for choosing this question

This question is also a very universal one, many of us have wished that opportunities like this is given to us, the question is only trying to pacify this wishful thoughts of ours and more than that is another subtle goal to access how we human perceive money. Would individuals write any amount blindly or write an amount which they can justify and account for to the very last dime.

Question 5 : The Friend I lost without a fight.

• Who was that friend and how did you meet?
• What caused the drift or disconnection?
• What do you miss about that friend?
• If you could send them one honest and heartfelt message today, what would it be?

Reason for choosing this question.

We all, regardless of our nationality, background or race have lost friends at some point in our journey, not to death but by drifting apart for various reasons, there wasn't a fight, quarrel or other negative occurrence that could abruptly end friendship yet we disconnected. Somehow we still miss such friends and just hope we can catch up. Although some of us have moved on as though the friendship never existed, this contest question would help us reflect deeply and if possible reconsider certain friendships that we might have lost carelessly.

Question 5 : Those who supported me in my lowest state

• What was your "Lowest state" I.e broke, abandoned, accused wrongly etc?
• Who were the people who stood by you when you were at your lowest?
• What did they do that others didn't do for you in that season?
• If you now have the capacity to offer them something as compensation or reward, what would it be?

Reason for choosing this question.

Life is full of ups and downs, it's not always a sweet sail, there are moments we face challenges and we feel alone bearing the burden all by ourselves until some folks show up to say "you won't do this alone, we would be by your side". At this stage of our lives, these folks are actually the read deal and more like messiahs that eventually help us get back on our feet. This contest aims to acknowledge and appreciate these people who were there for us during our lowest state.

Why I believe these contest ideas and questions fit into the scope of our challenges.

I believe they fit into the scope of the challenges because they are universal, they are not limited to any race, nationality, background and the likes, anyone can easily hop on the challenge and have more than enough to write on without having to turn to A.I for a thought.

All the questions above are experiential, you can always write something you personally know or have experienced and I think this supports the Proof of brain model that we have always preached on this platform.

The hint or sub question also serves as guide for participants. Participants are free to explore as much as they want as they are not limited to the sub question.
