My Journey on Steemit

So I joined Steemit in 2025. At that time I didn't know anything. Like literally zero knowledge about blogging. I just saw one of my friend using it and he told me you can write here.

First few weeks were very confusing for me. What is markdown? How to add image? What is club? I was making many mistakes. I was posting but no one was voting my post haha. I was like why?

But then I started to understand slowly. I started reading posts of other people. How they make heading, how they add photos. Then I learned that you need to be patient. You cant get success in one day.

My Steemit profile and blogging journey.

After some time due to my university exams I left Steemit. Because hostel life + studies + Steemit, it was too much for me. I was inactive for like 3-4 months. Now I came back again few weeks ago and trying to be regular. InshaAllah this time I will not leave.

My Daily Routine on Steemit

Markdows for steemit post
Look my routine is not same everyday. Because my university schedule is not same. Sometimes I have morning classes, sometimes labs till evening.

So normally when I get free time, mostly at night like 9 or 10 pm after dinner, I open Steemit on my mobile.

First I check notifications, who commented on my post. Then I go to feed and see new posts. I like to read diary game posts the most because I enjoy reading about other people's life.

I try to comment on at least 5-6 posts daily. And I don't do fake comments like "nice". I read full post and then comment what I really think. Because I know how it feels when someone gives nice comment on your post. It makes your day.

For my own posting, I don't post daily. I post like 2 or 3 times in a week. Because making a good post takes time. You need to take photos, write content, add markdown. So when I have some good topic or some contest I like, then I write.

On busy days I only give 20-30 minutes to Steemit. On Sunday when I am free in hostel, I give 2 hours easily.

My Favorite Communities and Content

Reading posts and learning from other Steemians
Best thing about Steemit is communities. There are so many, so you can choose where you want to post.

I like Incredible India community a lot. I have posted there many times. People there are very supportive. And now I am exploring Post Planet too, their contests are really good and different.

What I post? Mostly about my own life. My hostel routine, what I eat, university life, my friends. Sometimes I post about my city also. I like contests because you get a topic and you have to think about it. It improves your writing.

For me Steemit is not only about posting. Its about reading too. I learn a lot by reading other countries people. Like how they live, what they eat. Its interesting.

What I Have Learned and My Most Memorable Experience

Steemit taught me many things tbh.

Number 1 is patience. I learned that you will not get votes on every post. Some posts will get good support, some will get zero. So don't be sad. Just keep working and improve.

Number 2 is be original. At start I was trying to write like professional bloggers. But it didn't work. Then I started writing simple, my own real story in my own words. And people started liking it. So original is best.

Number 3 is commenting and supporting others. If you support others, they will also support you.

My most memorable experience? I still remember when I got my first comment from a moderator. He said my post is good but I need to improve my markdown. At that time I was so happy that someone senior noticed my post. I still remember that day. It motivated me a lot.

My Future Plans on Steemit

My plan is simple. I want to be consistent. I don't want to leave again. I want to post regularly and improve my writing.

My big goal is 50,000 SP. I know its very big haha, but dream big right? It will take long time, maybe 2-3 years. But I will try. I want to power up whatever I earn.

And I also want to help new users. Because when I was new, no one was there to help me. I struggled a lot. So if any new user asks me something, I will definitely help him.

My studies are also important, so I will try to manage both. In day time focus on university, at night time Steemit. This is my simple plan.

So yeah, Steemit has become part of my life now. Its not just a website for me. Its a place where I can share my feelings, my daily life, and connect with people from all around the world.

My journey had good days and bad days. But I enjoyed every part. I don't measure my success with only money or votes. For me success is that I learned new things, I made new friends, and my English writing got better than before.

Thanks to all who supported me till now. Hope I will stay here for long time.
