The first person to receive a mind-controlled bionic arm
The first person to receive a mind-controlled bionic arm
The future in which someone who has lost an arm can control a robotic hand simply by attempting to move the limb—and, furthermore, regain the ability to feel contact with objects—is already beginning to take shape. Researchers in the United States are moving in this direction with a new generation of bionic prostheses.
The researchers also aim for the user to receive sensory feedback upon contact with objects, achieved through electrical stimuli delivered to the nerves; this capacity to restore sensations will be further evaluated throughout the study. At this initial stage, the patient has not yet demonstrated the full functionality of a definitive prosthesis with restored tactile sensation, and this research is part of a much broader transformation.

It is impressive what hte achievement in medical science! The combination of robotics and AI offers new hope for people who have lost limbs, bringing us closer to restoring both movement and the sense of touch.
By the way, Rebecca, what country you are from just because you wrote that:
Ingles is not in English way, that made me curious :)
