Introducing Myself to the Steemit Community

Hello everyone! My name is Oyekunle Oyedeji, and I am from Nigeria. I am an Accounting graduate, a teacher, a football enthusiast and a content creator. I am excited to join this community, share my experiences and connect with people I can learn from.

My Hobbies and Interests

Football is a big part of my life. I enjoy playing as a midfielder, and I have also coached football teams, including my department and faculty teams. Being involved in football has taught me about teamwork, discipline and the importance of staying committed even when results take time.

I also enjoy learning new things and creating content. I make Bible stories and football videos for YouTube, which gives me the opportunity to explore storytelling, video editing and different ways of bringing ideas to life.

My Educational Background

I graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University in September 2024 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, earning Second Class Upper honours. I have also completed my National Youth Service Corps programme.

Alongside my accounting background, I have taught Mathematics and Further Mathematics at Holy Ghost Model College, Imuwen , where I also served as Head of the Commercial Department. Teaching gave me the opportunity to help students understand difficult topics and build confidence in their abilities.

I am now working towards building my career in accounting and finance while continuing to develop my other interests.

I got to know STEEMIT through a friend

I see Steemit as an opportunity to express myself, document my progress and learn from other people’s experiences. I look forward to finding my voice here and becoming an active member of the community.
