📣✨ UNFORGETTABLE TRIP ✨📣 WEEK /200📣✨/Roller carts/road to Santa Elena.

On August 30th, one of the traditional events for us Antioqueños took place: the ball-bearing cart race. Participants must build their own vehicles to compete, and the race route was carefully coordinated to avoid traffic disruptions on the road to Santa Elena, one of the area's rural townships.

It is a Roller carts featuring an army-green design inspired by the Willys Jeep; its owners and drivers worked hard to stabilize it. The wheels were too small and had to be replaced, but they ultimately managed to compete.

Some of the handmade carts—like this one and the previous one—were not equipped with ball-bearing wheels, so permission was requested to use other types; it is worth noting that they compete based on their design. People joked that it was Speed ​​Racer’s car, even though it was far from reaching such speeds.

The race got underway; this car had taken part in the Flower Festival’s classic and vintage vehicle parade and was leading the event. People joked that "The Tiger "—our president, with whom we are very happy—was driving it, though that was just a joke... We spent a pleasant afternoon full of moments that made us smile; one of the cars actually fell apart on the road, and quite a few didn't make it to the finish line.
