Hopping Puja Pandal(part-1)
I extend my best wishes to all my esteemed friends within the Steemit community and the entire Steemit team for a joyous Dussehra celebration.
and I aspire for everyone’s life to be abundant in happiness and love.
Last year, I had the opportunity to explore several pandals in my cherished city of Kolkata during this festive season.
Today marks the final day of the puja,
during which married women welcome
Maa Durga for the forthcoming year
and participate in the tradition of sindoor playing.
My cousin arrived at my residence around 1 PM, and we commenced our journey, with our first destination being the DumDum Park Tarun Sangha Club.
Manasa Mangala inspired this year's theme,
and I was captivated by the artistry
and craftsmanship that had been incorporated,
which evoked a sense of nostalgia,
alongside a historical narrative.
Unfortunately, time was limited,
and we were unable to remain long,
as we needed to visit additional pandals.
Following our visit to DumDum Park,
we proceeded to another well-known pandal, identified as Tala Pratty.
As it was 2:12 PM, the afternoon light diminished
our ability to appreciate the lighting effects,
but the idol of Maa Durga and the structural design
created this year were particularly impressive.
In my endeavours, I endeavoured to capture photographs
along with brief videos at each pandal visited. As we look forward to another year of welcoming Maa Durga, the future remains uncertain.
Therefore, I documented these moments to share with my Steemit family.
The third pandal we visited was Bagbazar. The queue was extensive,
and I observed married women participating in the debi baran ceremony while engaging in sindoor playing,
truly embodying the festive spirit.
It is noteworthy that there were two distinct lines:
One for individuals participating in the debi baran
and another for those visiting solely for pandal hopping.
A year passes,
with a message;
Live your lives
spread good vibes!
Spread happiness, as what we share, we are likely to receive in return.
Today was filled with diverse experiences, which I plan to discuss in my forthcoming blog.
In the meantime, I encourage you to remain
engaged with my page and to share your thoughts on how you celebrate your preferred festivities. Thank you for your continued support.
Happy Dussehra to you and your family.
Your visit to the different pandals in Kolkata sounds like a wonderful experience. I really enjoyed reading about the beautiful themes, artistic decorations, and the joyful traditions of Sindoor Khela. Festivals are so special because they bring people together and create beautiful memories that stay with us for years. I especially loved your message about spreading happiness and good vibes. May your life always be filled with peace, love, and happiness.
Thank you for sharing these lovely festive moments with us, and I look forward to reading more about your experiences!

the Manasa Mangala theme at DumDum Park looks properly detailed. visiting multiple spots in one afternoon must have made for quite a packed schedule though
