My move in steemLudo

I played a few quick matches—those are the ones I like because, if you have some spare time, it just flies by while playing. I played three rounds: I won two and lost the last one; the Ludo bot put up a good fight in that final game.

We both started out very evenly matched—we were almost in sync: he would advance, and I would advance; he would capture a piece, and I would capture one. Anything could happen. We went on like that for quite a while, until we each managed to crown two pieces.

At one point, I moved two of my pieces ahead and managed to position myself strategically to capture an opponent's piece and advance; I succeeded to the extent that my last two pieces were well-placed, even though the Ludo bot refused to give up.

In the end, it turned into a race: I was trying to roll the right numbers to get my pieces home, while he was racing to get his home. Ultimately, I couldn't roll the numbers I needed, whereas the Ludo bot got exactly the rolls that suited it and beat me. It was a good match.
