The diary game: [01/10/2026] Mourning Janeth my pet chicken, washing pots and received an important visitor
Hi everyone, welcome to another diary with your friend @jay357, Today started as a very painful day for me, having waking up to seeing the lifeless body of my cherished pet, I didn't know how to feel, the only feeling I could compare it to is loosing somebody important, at least that's what she was to me, she was important and now she's gone and it's very sad.
And After mourning her and taking care of her body, it was time to get into my day, I brought our some pots and kitchen utensils that were used to make general food in the house, took them to outside to the backyard as they were too big wash in the sink, fetched some water before realising I was out of washing soap, and I had to get outside to get some.
I sat and almost gave up washing the pots and the process of getting a new washing soap would be a combersom endeavour, as the only shop around is at the Estate gate, and the journey takes about 20 minutes to and fro. I had no choice, as I didn't want to derail my plans, I walked outside and started my tiresome journey along the main estate road to get the soap, I got there and saw one of the sales persons there and I was happy to see her because she hadn't been to work for some day as I heard she wasn't feeling too well, I enquired about hor health and she assured me she's doing well now, we exchanged pleasantries as she attended to me I returned back home to finish my job.
When I was through washing the pots I decided to sit and rest for a few minutes seeing that I've been taking turns between bending and squatting and it took a toll on my waist, I suddenly heard the honking of a car coming towards my compound, I looked up and behold, it was one my uncle who has been away overseas for some time, I ran down and opened the gate for him, he surprised everybody with his new family which comprises of his beautiful wife and new born baby boy who was a new addition to his family, we sat outside, gisted, he had so many stories to tell about the Western world, we ate and drank together while we shared those captivating stories, after a while he left, thanks for the read, seeing you again soon.
